New Delhi: Alleging violation of human rights and unfair treatment by the US embassy, an Indian political researcher has asked the Indian government to intercede with the US on her behalf.

Aparna Srivastava says she was a political researcher at the US embassy for three months before she was summarily thrown out, and forced to sign a resignation letter.
