India News brings you an exclusive show with 6 Indian Navy women officers, who are set to become the first Indian all-women crew to circumnavigate the globe onboard INSV Tarini.

On Wednesday the crew members met Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Admiral Sunil Lanba.

One of the crew members, Lt. Commander Vartika Joshi says that through the voyage they would like to spread the idea of ocean sailing. Another crew member revealed the details of their meeting with PM Modi. Lieutenant Payal Gupta explains how they would survive inside the vessel throughout their journey.

Commander Abhilash, who was the first person to circumnavigate the globe was also present in the panel on India News said, "I keep giving them advice from whatever I have experienced in Sea."

The women crew will be travelling across 6 seas in 7 months.
