There seems to be no end to the ordeal of the family of Sunil James, a 36-year-old merchant ship captain in captivity of Togo.

In the latest setback, James' family has been informed that there is little hope of his request being processed in Togo over the next 48 hours because Togo's judicial system will be shut over the weekend.

All this while the family have refused to cremate the body of James' 11-month old child in the hope that his father will be back by then.
