An Indian MP and his estranged wife have appeared in court and been remanded in custody after a servant's body bearing suspected signs of torture was found at their home in Delhi.

Police say that Jagriti Singh, the wife of Dhananjay Singh, the MP for Jaunpur in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, is the main murder suspect.
