Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday requested his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee to take appropriate steps towards undisrupted supply of potato from her State to Odisha.

In a telephonic conversation with Banerjee, Patnaik discussed about the short supply of potato to Odisha from West Bengal. A release issued by the Chief Minister's Office informed that Banerjee assured Patnaik of taking steps to normalise potato supply form her State.
