Senior Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader and former Cabinet Minister Satish Chandra Mishra on Monday compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the mythical god of death Yamaraja. Addressing a rally in Barabanki ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections, without taking Modi’s name, BSP’s General Secretary stated that 'Demonetisation has claimed up to 150 deaths. These 150 people have not been dead due to Yamaraja, a different Yamaraja is responsible for their death'.
