Prominent Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was assaulted on Friday on the sets of his upcoming movie 'Padmavati'.

As per reports, a frenzied mob in Jaipur, who accused the director of misrepresenting facts in movie vandalised the set of ‘Padmavati’ and disrupted the shooting of the film.

Recently it was also reported that the ‘Devdas’ director had beefed up security on his sets of ‘Padmavati’ in order to guard the look of actors Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
