Lucknow: After clamping down on its yatra on the Ayodhya issue, the Uttar Pradesh government today banned VHP's proposed 'Sankalp Diwas' stir on 18 October to press for a parliamentary legislation on building Ram Temple, fearing a communal flare-up.
