Telangana: Power employees call off strike after talks with Andhra CM

Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's office has said that electricity employees of Seemandhra have agreed to call off strike after their meeting with Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

The CM has given them an assurance that their concerns will be heard by the central government committee. Due to the impending cyclone alert, employees have agreed to resume work 'temporarily' as they do not want to cause further inconvenience to citizens. Cyclone Phailin is expected to hit the northern part Andhra Pradesh coast in the next 24 hours.
