Just hours after the death of DU staffer Pavitra Bhardwaj on Monday, there was a show of solidarity by the Delhi University College Principals' Association.

They approached chief minister Sheila Dikshit and requested her not to allow the governing body of the college to take action against the accused principal, GK Arora pending police enquiry.

On monday, a former employee of Delhi University, who immolated herself, succumbed to her burns. She was allegedly forced to quit her job and subjected to sexual harassment by the principal.

However, Arora maintains the allegations are baseless and it was a "conspiracy" against him by "vested interest groups.
