It's Gandhi Jayanti and despite being an official holiday, today is a day packed with lots of meetings and discussions for the congress and the govt Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who has just come back from the US all in all there will be four meetings in one day.

The first of these meetings between Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is already over. Congress leaders refuse to accept that Rahul will extend an apology to the PM but Rahul will definitely try to convince the PM that attacking him was not the motive.

then there will be a core group meeting at the Prime Minister's residence. Rahul Gandhi is not part of the core group but according to sources, he might attend the meeting.

After the meeting, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will go meet the President in the afternoon.

And finally the Cabinet meeting at PM's residence. The primary agenda of the meeting would be to discuss the ordinance approved in the last Cabinet meeting on September 24. In this meeting, the Cabinet will finally take a call on the Ordinance.

So the day ahead is long for the govt and We will all have to wait and watch as to who has the last word.
