New Delhi: A defiant N Srinivasan is certain to be re-elected unopposed as the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) during its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday after he filed his nomination on Saturday, although he won't be able to discharge his functions due to a Supreme Court order.
Srinivasan is vying for his third term as the BCCI President told that no nominations were filed by any office-bearer to contest for the president's post against Srinivasan. But even if elected, the India Cements boss can only resume his duties once the Supreme Court gives its final verdict in the Jagan Reddy case as well as the case filed by Cricket Association of Bihar secretary Aditya Verma.
