Former bureaucrat BK Bansal who was booked under the charges of corruption by the CBI, committed suicide on Tuesday at his residence at Madhu Vihar, Delhi.

Bansal who was booked under the graft charges, killed himself along with his son who was suffering from depression at their house in Delhi. Bansal was previously the Director General of Corporate Affairs (DGCA) before being arrested by the CBI on the charges of bribery.
