Expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dayashankar Singh, who compared Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati to a prostitute, was granted bail on Saturday and released from Mau district jail on Sunday morning.After being released from Mau jail Dayashankar said, “My wife and daughter are not well, will go to Lucknow straight away, to meet my family.”Earlier, a case was lodged against Dayashankar on 20th July for making a derogatory remark against BSP chief Mayawati. He was arrested from Bihar's Buxar district and sent to 14-day judicial custody.Singh's comment caused a huge furore inside and outside Parliament and forced BJP to expel him for six years.BSP’s Chandigarh chief Jannat Jahan had also hit out at Dayashankar and announced a reward of Rs 50 lakh to anyone who would have got her Dayashankars’ tongue.
