Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party (SP) Government seems to be protecting the persons who are responsible for inciting people for violence. BSP MP from Muzaffarnagar along with other Muslim leaders had addressed a public meeting on August 30 after the killing of three youths in Kawal village. The speeches of the leaders were so inflammatory that it was followed by widespread violence in the district and its nearby areas. Unfortunately, these leaders are roaming free because the Chief Minister himself, in a statement, has clearly said that no arrests will be made till the report of a judicial commission, appointed by SP Government to probe the causes behind riots, comes out in two months. This has provided the accused enough opportunity to roam freely and they continue to create problems for the law and order machinery.
