Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been granted bail in the defamation case filed against him by Bikram Singh Majithia on a bond of Rs 40,000.Kejriwal was to appear before the Amritsar High Court on Friday at 11 am in connection with the case.Bikram Singh Majithia, Punjab’s Revenue Minister had filed a defamation case against Kejriwal alleging that Kejriwal had tried to malign the name of his family by levelling baseless and malicious allegations.The case was filed against other two AAP leaders, Ashish Khaitan and Sanjay Singh as well.Next date of hearing has been declared October 15.
