The police custody of Helen Sarkar, principal of the school where Oindrila was ragged and later died, has ended. She will be produced before the sessions court later today.

Oindrila was locked up inside a school toilet by her seniors, who demanded money.

Traumatised by the incident she fell ill. With no difference in her health for a week. She was taken to a psychiatrist who administered her an injection, soon her health deteriorated and she died. Angry parents went on a rampage in the school. The principal resigned and was arrested by the police. She was later sent to three days police custody.
