Seeking to put an end to the 'rift' within the BJP, party president Rajnath Singh said there were no differences with veteran party leader LK Advani adding that the decision to appoint Modi as the Prime Ministerial Candidate was taken based on the mood of the nation. Speaking at a press conference in Mumbai, Singh said Advani was a senior leader and a mentor in the party and there was no question of isolating him.
The BJP president also took a dig at the Congress saying it was high time they declared their Prime Ministerial Candidate. "The BJP will form the government in 2014," he said.
