As actor turned politician Vijayakanth turned 61 years old few days back. He had a surprise birthday greetings from Delhi. AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi wished the leader on his birthday. Many see this as a possible Electoral Alliance between the Congress & DMDK ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections.

Though the Congress did not support DMDK's Candidate for the recent Rajya Sabha Poll and voted for Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi. Rahul Gandhi has played a crucial role to keep Vijayakanth in good humour.
