JD(U) MLA Gopal Mandal in his defence told India News that his statements were misquoted and he did not mean it that way. Earlier, Gopal Mandal shocked with his remark on politics of murder. He said, will not tolerate any false accusations by the opposition leader and will resort to politics of murder. He gloated he has the power and will take up arms if needed.
