Hijacking of Indian Airlines plane IC-814: NewsX Investigations reveal that one Uma Shankar Mishra had intimated the Government of Meghalaya through a letter about a possible hijack from Kathmandu not days but precisely 3 months before the actual Hijack. The letter was based on the secret information of one Ibrahim Hussain, who died mysteriously after a few months of the actual Hijack.

Uma Shankar Mishra not only named the persons conspiring to Hijack a plane from Kathmandu in order to secure the release of some jailed Pakistani nationals but also bragged about the conspiracy in detail.
