Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday declassified Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose files at the National Archives of India on the occasion of Subhash Chandra Bose's birth anniversary. Modi released digital copies of some of the files in presence of family members of the late freedom fighter. File 2 of the declassified files contains meterial on disapperance and death of Bose. Letters signed by Nehru and a cabinet note proposing to bring remains from Japan to India were also released on the occasion.
