The Samajwadi Party's attempt to paint Durga Nagpal a communalist officer threatening peace and harmony has had a hole blown in it by the District Magistrate of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Kumar Ravikant Singh.

He has submitted a report to the UP govt that dismisses the charge that suspended IAS officer Durga Nagpal stoked communal passions in the area by demolishing a masjid.
