As many as 30 e-rickshaws were flagged off from Madipur metro station on Tuesday by DCP traffic. The rickshaws were inaugurated by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Transport Minister Gopal Rai. These smart e-rickshaws are equipped with digital gadgets including GPRS and CCTV cameras, keepign women's safety in mind. These smart rickshaws will be driven by women drivers, who have been imparted training in traffic rules, road safety and martial arts for six months.
