NewsX: BCCI has 30 affiliated units which have voting rights in the body's annual general body meeting. But the president also has a vote, making the total votes to 31. Sources say that for now, Srinivasan enjoys the support of 24 members and that only seven members have openly come against Srinivasan.

Prominent among them being Scindia, Rajeev Shukla, Arun Jaitley, Ajay Shirke, Bharat K Shah, I S Bindra and CP Joshi. Though the numbers seem to be in favour of Srinivasan, the messages by prominent members contradict his assertion that the board was united behind him.
