NewsX: In a major crackdown on bookies carrying on illegal betting jobs in India, police have raided several places and made arrests. In Goa as many as 6 persons were arrested while in Pune 2 others were arrested. In the raids in other places, 8 bookies were arrested in Mumbai, five in Kanpur and nine from Ghaziabad.
