The BJP on Friday rejected the demand for resignation of external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje over their alleged links with scam-tainted Lalit Modi, saying there is "no technical or legal" basis for it.

Party spokesman Sudhanshu Trivedi said while the party's top leadership has made its position clear on the issue of Swaraj, the validity of the documents produced against Raje are not yet verified.
