IPL Fixing Scandal : Three RR players held

NewsX: In a major embarrassment to the on-going sixth edition of the IPL, Pacer S. Sreesanth and two other players of Rajasthan Royals are arrested by Delhi Police on charges of spot fixing.

The other two players have been named as Ankit Chavan and Ajit Chandalia. Seven bookies were also arrested.

The trio is arrested for spot fixing yesterday's match with Mumbai Indians. And it is now surfacing that Dubai links of money laundering are involved in.

The players used Black berry messengers & whatsapp messenger to interact with teh bookies. The players and bookies have been booked under sections 420 and 120B which amounts to cheating and criminal conspiracy.

According to sources, one of the accused is caught on tape promising to give away 13 runs in an over, in last night's game against Mumbai Indians. Incidentally MI won by 14 runs.
