Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Jitender Singh Tomar was on Wednesday taken to Faizabad in Uttar Pradesh for questioning in the fake degree case. The Minister maintained that the allegations against him were false. “My degree is absolutely genuine. It is a conspiracy by the BJP and Central government. Yes, they are not letting AAP government work,” Mr. Tomar said. The 49-year-old MLA from Trinagar was remanded in four-day police custody by a Delhi court on Tuesday. Mr. Tomar, who quit as Delhi Law Minister after his arrest on Tuesday, claimed to have done his B.Sc. from RML Avadh University, Faizabad.
