Sarabjit Singh, an Indian man who is on death row in Pakistan, who was attacked by two prisoners in a Lahore jail, is in "coma" and put on ventilator, Pakistani doctors told Indian officials today.

"Doctors attending to Sarabjit Singh informed the Indian officials that he is in coma on ventilator and receiving IV drip," External Affairs Ministry spokesman Syed Akbaruddin said.
