The Supreme Court has rejected the mercy plea of Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar. SC also said that delay in mercy pleas can't lead to commutation. Bhullar had appealed for clemency in 2003. MS Bitta said, that not just Bhullar, even politicians should be held accountable.
