Government's decision to send an emissary to a venue where Pakistan was hosting India's traitors sparked a major storm and General VK Singh's decision to tweet disgust has only added fuel to fire. But a day after his twitter tirade created a stir, Singh came out with a clarification claiming that he never threatened to resign nor was he asked to do the same. VK Singh also stressed that it is standard practice for Kashmiri separatists to be invited to the annual Pakistan Day celebration, just as it is the norm for the Minister of State for External Affairs to attend the yearly dinner.
