Aam Aadmi Party: Even as internal conflicts within the Aam Aadmi Party begin to come to the fore, former party member and now a Bharatiya Janata Party member Shazia ilmi trained guns at her former colleagues claiming that there is a dearth of transparency within the party. "There is absence of internal democracy in AAP. Bhushan and Yadav are very senior, what they are saying is right. There is no transparency in the party, there is nepotism," she alleged.
Her comments came after the widening rift within the AAP is in the open. According to sources, Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan are likely to be dropped from the party's Political Affairs Committee. The decision in this respect is due to be taken at AAP's national executive meet on the March 4 where both Yadav and Bhushan will participate.
Bhushan could be expelled for leaking a letter he had written seeking structural changes within the party. The letter also indicts the party for becoming a one man show.
