Big blow to Actor Sanjay Dutt, with Supreme Court sentencing him to five years in jail in the 1993 blasts case. The Supreme Court has also upheld the death sentence of Yakub Khan, brother of absconding prime accused Tiger Menon. However, the death sentence of 10 others have been commuted to life while the life term of 17 others has also been upheld. The Supreme Court has also slammed Pakistan for its role in 1993 Mumbai blasts by holding that the training of convicts in Pakistan marterialised the blasts and that the management and conspiracy of the blasts was done by Dawood Ibrahim and others in Pakistan.
