A Maruti omni collided with a private bus at Datan in west midnapore district. The car was on its way to Orissa from kalaikunda when it collided with the bus near Datan. Six people have died in the mishap. 12 more have been injured. Injured were rushed to nearby Belda govt hosp. Of which 3 have been shifted to Orissa and are said to be critical.
