The mercy plea of Afzal Guru was rejected few days ago, Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesperson Venu Rajamony said. Sources say Parliament attack accused Afzal Guru is to be hanged at Tihar jail today. The situation is tense in the valley. Sources say Afzal Guru is being taken to Tihar jail this morning for hanging that was earlier scheduled for 7:30 am.
