No end to the storm kicked up by Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. Outraged over Shinde accusing RSS and BJP of promoting Hindu terrorism, hundreds of BJP workers staged a protest rally demanding Shinde's resignation. An effigy of Shinde was set on fire and posters of Rahul Gandhi was also damaged.
