Delhi police has apologised to the Delhi High Court for filing an unsatisfactory report on the deployment of police control room vans on the evening of December 16, when Damini was gangraped and tortured in a moving bus. Based on the apology the court directed the government to increase the number of PCR vans and ensure that action is taken against vehicles with tinted glasses without any exception. The case has been adjourned for further orders to January 31.
