Expecting protests over the death of the 23-year-old, Delhi police is on high alert. All the 10 metro stations in and around India Gate has been ordered to be closes until further orders. The stations ordered shut are Patel Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Khan Market, Central Secretariat, Jor Bag, Udoyg Bhawan, Mandi House, Barakhamba Road and Pragati Maidan. Also, all roads leading to India Gate has been closed along with the closure of entire Central Vista including Rajpath, Vijay Chowk and Kamal Attaturk Marg. Delhi police has also pressed 40 companies and 28 CRPF companies into service to maintain peace.
