In a development linked with investigations on Delhi gangrape case. The magistrate who recorded the gang rape survivor's statement, has written a letter to Delhi CM Shiela Dikshit saying top cops interfered with the crucial process of recording the statement. Sheila Dikshit has reportedly forwarded the letter to the Home Minister, asking for independent inquiry into magistrate's allegation calling the complaint "alarming and serious." The complaint has been filed by the SDM of Vivek Vihar, Usha Chaturvedi, who recorded the para medic student's statement in Safdarjung hospital on Friday. The judge claims that three police officers, who she has named, tried to dissuade the young woman's mother from letting her record her statement on camera, alleging that the police officers misbehaved with her and tried to intimidate her.
