The much hyped debate in Parliament on FDI in retail got underway today. Even as the Government is confident that the BJP's motion against FDI will be rejected in both houses, charges and counter charges flew thick and fast. But is the opposition raking up the issue to merely embarrass the Government, when the ultimate choice of implementing it rests with the States.
