A 29-year-old casual labourer Abdul Hakim who exposed the ugly face of khap panchayats against lovers in Aamir Khan's TV show Satyamev Jayate earlier this year has been killed. Abdul Hakim was shot in cold blood right before the residents of native village named Adoli in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahar district on Thursday. Hakim and his wife Mahvish had participated in the honour killing episode of 'Satyamev Jayate' to speak against the problem. Mahvish has alleged that her family members were behind the death of her husband.
