Jayalalithaa's Tamil Nadu govt has decided to sue the Centre in the Supreme Court over acute power shortage in the state. Jayalalithaa wants to squarely blame the Centre for the state's people facing hardships due to long power cuts these days. The state faces a 4,000 MW of power shortage and wants 1,721 MW of power surrendered by Delhi which it is not getting because of transmission corridor congestion.
