Veteran filmmaker has been admitted to Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra in Mumbai after being diagnosed with the atcck of dengue. He felt slight uneasiness on 11 October, the day after he attended Amitabh Bachchan's 70th birthday. His family thought it would be better to admit him in the hospital for better monitoring of his health. The 80-year-old filmmaker had announced his retirement from film direction last month. He is looking forward to the release of his latest directorial venture Jab Tak Hai Jaan that stars Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead.
