Rahul Gandhi while addressing the crowds in Chandigarh endorsed women participation in politics. He said that all women run states have witnessed major growth. Rahul Gandhi is on a two-day visit to Punjab from Wednesday during which he will interact with party cadres. He will be interacting with party leaders in Amritsar, Jalandhar and Patiala. This is his first visit to the state since the party's debacle in the assembly elections.
