There has been a blast in a scrap shop near Samrala Chowk in Ludhiana. 2 people have died and five have suffered severe injuries. Police has initiated its investigation. It is not for the first time that blasts have occurred because of the explosive material present in the scrap the dealers buy from the military. However, further investigations are being carried out to rule out any other angle. Meanwhile, panic gripped the entire area as the impact of the blast was massive. It ripped apart the bodies of the workers who were breaking it down. Many injured are stated to be in a serious condition.
