India's Paralympic Silver Medalist Girisha Hosanagara Nagarajegowda returned to India to a hero's welcome with the Indian contingent in Delhi this morning. Girisha opened India's medal account at the London Paralympics when he finishing second in the Men's High Jump F42 event. The team touched down in Delhi, with all the attention focused on Girisha. In an exclusive chat Girisha said, Wrestler Sushul Kumar motivated him to perform well at Paralympic games. Girisha bagged first ever Paralympics medal for India. Sports Minister Ajay Maken has already assured Girisha that he will be offered a job at the Sports Authority of India, as well as a cash award of 30 Lakhs.
