The key witness of the sexual assault case of Surat sisters involving self styled godman Asaram, Amrut Prajapati died today in a civil hospital in Ahmedabad.

Prajapati was shot at in Rajkot on May 23 and was undergoing treatment before succumbing to serious injuries.

A resident of Odhav in Ahmedabad, Prajapati practiced Ayurveda. He was one of the important aides of Asaram before parting ways with him after working nearly for 15 years.
