After 10 days of a tense calm, parts of lower Assam are on the boil again. Communal tempers flared again on Sunday after five more bodies were recovered taking the death toll to 61. Additional police and paramilitary reinforcements have been rushed in even as the medical crisis at relief camps threatens to boil over.
