BJP leader Arun Jaitley renewed his attack on the Election Commission saying that how come Rahul was given the permission to hold a roadshow in the same are where Narendra Modi was denied. He alleged political motive behind not letting Modi holding a rally in Varansi.

Modi wasn't given permission by the Returning Officer to hold a rally in Rohania, a rural Assembly constituency outside the main Varanasi city but within the Lok Sabha constituency.
